We carry £10m public liability cover and hold SSIP accreditation through SMAS Worksafe, along with CITB certification and NJORD accreditation for carpet cleaning. Certificates go out with every quote. A principal contractor or a public-sector client needs them on file before we start.

Yes, job-specific risk assessments and method statements, issued with the quote. They are written for your site. If your principal contractor wants a particular format, we will produce it. Generic RAMS — risk assessments and method statements — are the ones that get rejected.

Employed directly by us and DBS checked. It costs more than subcontracting. It is also why holiday and sickness cover actually happens. Most of the problems people have had with cleaning contractors trace back to subcontracted labour.

From a site visit, not from a drawing or a phone call. Someone comes and looks at the building — the area, the state of it, access, welfare, power and water — and you get a written fixed price against a scope you can check. Estimates given without a visit are the reason final invoices do not match quotes.

Two to three weeks is comfortable for a builders clean or the start of a contract, and it gives us time to do the visit and get the paperwork to your principal contractor. We do take shorter notice, because programmes move and that is normal. Crew size is the constraint. Early notice means we can put more people on it.

Regularly. Contract cleaning for offices is usually done before or after the working day, port and industrial premises often need us on shift patterns, and specialist work is frequently done out of hours for discretion. Tell us what the building needs and we will work to it.

Our work is commercial and construction — offices, sites, schools, healthcare, hospitality and holiday accommodation. That is what our accreditations, insurance and crews are set up for, and it is what we are genuinely good at.

Yes, through a licensed clinical waste route, with consignment notes as proof. This is where this kind of work most often goes wrong. Waste in a builder’s skip creates a bigger problem than the one you started with.

Tell us straight away and we will put it right. On construction work we walk it with you against the scope before we leave, so anything wrong gets fixed while we are still there.

We can — hand towels, toilet rolls, soap and bin liners — or you can buy your own and we simply fit and stock them. Some clients prefer to control that spend directly. We will price both ways so you can see the difference instead of having it bundled invisibly into an hourly rate.

Yes, and where there is an incumbent team TUPE will usually apply. We will handle the consultation properly and we would rather know at tender stage than after award, because it affects both the price and how quickly we can start.

Yes. We have been on the Isle of Anglesey County Council framework since July 2025, appointed through the Sell2Wales tendering process, and voids and maintenance cleaning make up most of that contract. We also work directly for Cyngor Gwynedd and other public-sector clients outside formal frameworks.

Over 20 years in the trade as a family business. We incorporated as Cadnant Group Ltd, company number 15369046, in December 2023, to put a proper structure around work that was already happening. The registered office is in Bangor and the company is registered in Wales.
