Commercial cleaning in Denbighshire

Denbighshire splits neatly in two, and the work splits with it.

The coastal strip — Rhyl, Prestatyn, Rhuddlan — has the county's densest rented housing stock, and void property is the steadiest work we do here. Properties come back between tenancies in a constant trickle rather than a seasonal spike, and the thing being bought is the relet date, not the clean. We book it as a programme. Regeneration money has been going into Rhyl's seafront and town centre for years, and those schemes end in a handover clean with a full documentation requirement.

Inland is a different county altogether. St Asaph Business Park is one of the largest in North Wales, and the offices, laboratories and light industrial units on it want ordinary scheduled commercial cleaning done reliably and out of hours. Ysbyty Glan Clwyd at Bodelwyddan brings healthcare premises and the clinics that cluster around a district general hospital, where the waste has to leave through a licensed route with paperwork that survives an inspection.

Then there are the market towns. Denbigh, Ruthin, Llangollen and Corwen are old, small and full of listed stone and painted render. The buildings are the constraint, not the dirt. We soft wash rather than pressure wash on anything of that age, and we work out access and loading before the first visit, because a lot of those streets will not take a van standing in them.

Denbighshire County Council is the authority. Its housing, schools and public buildings are a normal part of what we do, and all of it gets checked for accreditation and insurance before anyone goes near a building — which is why we hold SSIP through SMAS and carry £10m cover.
