Commercial cleaning in Ynys Môn, done properly

Ynys Môn is an island with about 125 miles of coastline, and almost nothing on it is far from salt water. That one fact drives most of the outside work. Glass hazes faster than it does inland, painted walls green up on the sheltered sides and get scoured on the exposed ones, and metal corrodes quicker than people expect. Window and soft-wash frequencies here are genuinely shorter than they would be twenty miles east, and we price them that way instead of selling you an inland schedule that will not hold.

The commercial base is spread out. Holyhead has the port and the traffic that comes with it. Llangefni is the administrative centre and where much of the county estate sits. Menai Bridge has the university's marine departments. Around those are farming, tourism, a lot of holiday accommodation along the coast, and the energy work that has come and gone around Wylfa for decades.

Because it is spread, covering the island means being willing to travel to it. A contractor on the mainland who treats Anglesey as an occasional trip will price it that way. We work the island as a normal part of the week and charge no call-out fee anywhere on it.

The stock runs from stone farmhouses and Victorian terraces to modern estates and industrial units. A good deal of the older fabric is lime-based, so we soft wash it. The Isle of Anglesey County Council is the authority.

The island is a scheduled area for us, and so is everything either side of it.

  • Conwy — further east, for anything along the north coast

Yes, the whole island, with no call-out charge. Holyhead, Llangefni, Menai Bridge, Beaumaris, Amlwch, Benllech and Rhosneigr are all a normal part of our week.

Because almost nothing here is far from salt water. Glass dulls with salt haze even without rain, so exposed premises generally want monthly through the year where an inland building might manage quarterly. We will tell you honestly what frequency your building actually needs after looking at it.

Yes, and we are on their framework. We were appointed through the Sell2Wales tendering process and the contract started in July 2025, with voids and maintenance cleaning making up most of it. Being on a framework means the accreditation and insurance checks are already done, so work can be called off without going back through procurement each time.

Yes. Port and industrial buildings need a different specification from an office — heavier soiling, hard floors that take constant grit, and access and permit arrangements that have to be agreed before anyone turns up. We sort that on the site visit and put it in the RAMS.

Yes, and the coastal stock turns over heavily through the season. It works best booked as a round for the season rather than week to week, because most properties change over on the same days and capacity is the constraint.
