Commercial cleaning in Conwy

Conwy is three different working areas that happen to share a council, and a contract in one of them looks nothing like a contract in the next.

The coast is hospitality. Llandudno, Colwyn Bay, Rhos-on-Sea and Penmaenmawr run on a season, and almost everything we do along there fits around guests being in the building. Contract cleaning at hours that suit you, changeovers at speed, and the heavy jobs — carpets, kitchens, floor restoration — pushed into the quiet weeks in November and January. Venue Cymru pulls conference and event work into Llandudno outside the summer, which lengthens the season more than people expect.

The A55 corridor is the commercial half. Llandudno Junction, Mochdre and the estates either side of the dual carriageway hold the offices, trade counters, industrial units and distribution that keep the county working. This is where most of our contract cleaning and commercial window work actually sits, and it looks like commercial cleaning anywhere — regular, scheduled, out of hours where it suits, and nothing to do with the sea.

Then there is the valley. Conwy town itself is a walled World Heritage site, and Llanrwst, Betws-y-Coed and Trefriw are old, small and often listed. Access is the first thing we work out, and the method is the second: lime render, painted stone and slate do not take a pressure lance, so we soft wash. Getting that wrong costs a client an elevation, not a clean.

Conwy County Borough Council is the authority, and its housing, schools and public buildings are a steady part of the work — which means accreditation and documentation get checked before anyone is let near a building. There is construction alongside it, and those jobs end in a builders clean against a date somebody has already committed to.
